As a Kuwaiti reading a fantastical Emirati story about a pearl diver and his daughter, I felt right at home. We have so much rich history in common. One night, I wore my beautifully tailored مُخور (Emirati thoub) and felt oneness with the book and its characters.
If I had a teenage child, I would have them read the book immediately. The roundness of Mouza’s character subtly invokes a moral message. Finally, the ending made me feel like there’s going to be a subsequent part, for which I hope.
قصة رائعة تعبر عن حياة الاجداد و مشقة السفر و الغوص للبحث عن اللؤلؤ و في انتظار الجزء الثاني و مغامرة موزة و صالح في استرجاع اللؤلؤة
يسعدني سماعكم لرأيي المتواضع حول تجربتي في قراءة الرواية المجنونة 😀 ... استمتعت بسلاستها من خلال حبكتها ( قلق - توتر - مغامرة وإثارة وختاماً بتشويق) استخدام المشاعر يجبر القارئ على التعاطف مع بطلة القصة (موزة) وباقي الشخصيات ومن خلال سياق الرواية والسرد القصصي جعل منها *مدرسة* لمن يرغب في تعلم الكتابة الإبداعية رغم استخدام كلمات عربية فصحى فكانت ضمن سياق محكم وسلس.
أثناء القراءة وبطريقة غير مباشرة تعرفت عن قرب بالثقافة الإماراتية التراثية من لبس وأكلات شعبية والمصطلحات المحلية المتداولة، و
في انتظار الجزء الثاني ، و أرجو أن يكون سريعا لا استطيع الانتظار ❤️
