The Full Story
In 2015, the United Nations General Assembly set 17 interlinked Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) designed to form a “road map to achieving a better and more sustainable future for all human beings.” It is intended to be achieved by 2030.
The United Arab Emirates has taken an interest in the sustainable development goals, as it launched a data center for the sustainable development goals in October 2017. It was the pioneer in the inclusion of initiatives that seek to achieve the development goals.
Goal No. 4: Quality Education
The fourth goal focuses states “Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.” the quality of education, which would break the cycle of poverty. However, there are still many remote areas in the world that do not have schools at all, and if they exist, they are in a poor condition with no educational facilities, or toilets that are gender sensitive, and teachers do not receive sufficient training.
COVID-19 and the quality of education

More than 101 million children in grades 1-8 fell below minimum reading proficiency levels in 2020 Many countries lack basic school infrastructure for rebuilding.
Our goal
Ajyal will not only focus on publishing children’s books in Arabic to enhance reading skills, but will allocate a portion of the proceeds from each book to the “Adopt a School” project in cooperation with Dubai Cares. Our primary goals include supporting the construction of schools in Senegal, Nepal, Malawi and Cambodia.
Our responsibility to society
Ajyaal seeks to support the Quality Education by Adopting a School initiative launched by Dubai Cares by allocating five dirhams of each book sold for the adoption of a new school. Our primary goals include supporting the construction of schools in Senegal, Nepal, Malawi and Cambodia.
Measuring our success in numbers
Our success in our first mission is to sell: 26,400 books to build a school in Malawi for 200 students. that includes two classrooms, training program for teachers and adult literacy for 18 months in corporation with Dubai cares.
We are still very early stage and we look forward to making a positive difference in the lives of as many students around the world as possible.

Our main mission is to produce and sell books in Arabic for children, from early childhood stages, with enjoyable, high-quality content, with responsible and sustainable printing. our vision is to acquire as many new young readers as possible, by being the first choice in every home.
Why do we take children's books seriously
We take children's books seriously, because it is the door that will make them love all the other books. It's small steps towards an explorer, conscious and self-taught generation, we believe that what we create today will have an inspiring impact through the generations.
