Ajyaal Media is pleased to announce the signing of a landmark agreement with Asian Book House, paving the way for the translation and publication of the award-winning children's book “An Elephant on My Finger” into Russian and Uzbek. This strategic collaboration marks a significant step in advancing cross-cultural literary exchange between the UAE and Uzbekistan.

This initiative is more than a publishing endeavor — it is a meaningful cultural bridge connecting two regions through the universal language of storytelling. The book, known for its emotional depth, evocative illustrations, and timeless message, has resonated strongly with Arabic-speaking readers and is now set to reach a broader audience.

“An Elephant on My Finger” was awarded the International Award for Arabic Children's Literature (formerly known as the Etisalat Award) for Best Picture Book, the highest-ranking distinction in children’s literature in the Arab region. The story’s literary and artistic merit make it an ideal candidate for global adaptation and readership.

Commenting on the partnership, Viktoriya Gayratova, CEO & Founder of Asian Book House, stated:

“As a publisher from Uzbekistan, it is a tremendous honor for me to translate the remarkable work ‘The Elephant on My Finger’ from Arabic into Uzbek and Russian. From the very first moment, my team and I fell in love with this captivating story — the illustrations left us truly mesmerized. I firmly believe that expanding literary partnerships between Uzbekistan and the UAE is of great importance, as our cultures share many beautiful similarities.”

This milestone marks the beginning of a shared commitment to invest in stories that matter — stories that carry values, spark imagination, and remind us of our shared humanity.

Because great stories don't just travel — they transform.
